Born April 20 1934 in Barnesboro, daughter of Henry Milton Funk and Violet May (Clawson) Funk. Preceded in death by parents, husband, James David Fenton in 1969, sisters, Grace (Funk) Crago, Helen (Funk) Griffith, brothers, George Funk, Donald Funk, John Ward Funk, Walter Funk, Charles Funk, Harold Clawson, Henry Funk and Norman Funk. Survived by children, David Scott Fenton partnered to Kimberly Ann McKay of Arlington, Texas, Tod Curtis married to Lynne Ann (Commons) Fenton of Lanoka Harbor, NJ., Daniel Thomas Fenton of Pittsburgh, Lorrie (Amber) Ann married to Thomas D. Hope of Reisterstown, MD., Kerry Allen Fenton married to Benny C. Chan of Ewing, NJ., grandchildren, Brian Fenton, Aaron Fenton, Hope (Fenton) Ortiz married to Efrain Ortiz, David Fenton married to Kayla (Hatcher) Fenton, Amy Fenton, Kayla Fenton, Deanna Fenton, Brandon Hope, Nicole Fenton, Emily Hope and Olivia Hope, great-grandchildren, Emmanuel Ortiz, Faith Ortiz, Christian Fenton-Edne. Sister of Louise Clawson, H. James (Jim) married to Ruth (Hilliard) Funk, Margaret married to Donald Karasek and Carol married to William Dunchack. Arvilla retired from Miners Hospital as a registered nurse. A member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the church choir, former Sunday school teacher and United Methodist Women. Arvilla loved to crochet and knit. Friends will be received from noon until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Pastor Darlene Wiewiora. Interment North Barnesboro Cemetery.
